Nurturing Minds: Embracing Mental Health in Our Everyday Lives

Mental health is an integral part of our overall wellbeing. It influences and is influenced by every interaction we have, from the casual to the intimate. Our mental health shapes how we view the world and interact with it, and it’s similarly shaped by the mental health of everyone around us—be it friends, family, or colleagues. Recognizing this interconnectedness can empower us to support one another more conscientiously and create more supportive work environments.

At JOON, an emphasis on optimizing and supporting our mental wellbeing should feel integrated into everything we do. But in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, our team would like to share brand partners, content, and books that we have found useful in navigating our mental health and wellbeing journeys.

None of these products or resources are a panacea for your mental health. They are all here to help guide you towards a comprehensive and iterative wellbeing journey. Often, it takes trial and error, reading a book, taking notes, and iterating from there. Journaling via Google Docs, a physical journal, or even using Otter.AI or another voice recording or transcription tool, can be a great way to keep track of what is working and how you are feeling.
